Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to delete some search engine results where i make some controversial statements. The statements are in regards to opinions on women who are too into their careers. It got syndicated on 2 blogs. I got both to remove my name from it but it still shows up in search engine results of my name because of the "cached".

Will this go away automatically soon? Is there anything I can do to get these off search engines? Is there any way i can approach the webmasters and give them an easy step by step thing to do so the "cache" is erased from these blog posts?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Call the search engines and talk with the people who handle that stuff.

If the blog sites had your entries deleted, then after the next search engines cache refresh on the concerned pages, they will be gone automatically.

My guess is that with google, it takes from 6 months to one year.

hmm I'm thinking if i were to find a way to have search engines spider the webpages immediately or in a short period of time, i could wipe out my name from the cached pages since my name was wiped out.

Does anyone know a quick way to have these pages spidered again immediately?

google: got 2 unwanted
yahoo: CLEAR NOW!
MSN: 1 unwanted

How unique is your name? If it's along the lines of John Smith, I think you'll be OK. If it's too unique, then be sure to let us know how it goes when you do figure it out.

my name is VERY uncommon

ya i think im going to contact google and ask them to take the results off so it gets spidered again. I already got the webmasters to erase my name. I'm just going to tell them that a person with the same name as me has unfavorable results which i got webmasters to take off their listings. But it still shows in the listings and im looking for a new job recently and if they see my name associated with that it wont matter if its me or not.
