"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

good article: Do Women Really Want to be Friends First?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

good article and surmises my way of going after women. I come in as a person trying to make a genuine human relationship, and if I deem her worthy of a relationship it is time to make her jump the hoops. If she manages to jump the hoops, which 90% of women don't make it through (long term relationship with a brain and her own opinions). Then I will give her a relationships, while the rest are good for sex or a friendship and that is it.

we just want you to be friendly.

there is a big difference between friends and being friendly before you start dating.

"Friends first" is essentially a way of discouraging clueless fellows from making unwelcome moves.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

"On the other hand, she won't go up to a stranger and ask for sex, because a stranger could very well be dangerous."

I don't agree with this part of the article. I think the main reason women don't do this is the fact that it's not socially acceptable behavior. Heck, 99% of the men out there won't even go up to a strange woman and ask for sex. It's just not something that people do.

Most of the "seduction information" relating to friendships and sex is really dated. That sh!t might have applied to 30 year old women in the 90's, but this is 2007. Young women have sex with their friends all the time these days.

I'm pretty much the same way. I feel it's best just to try to enjoy a person for who they are, rather than objectifying them into some role or expectation. And you know what's up when it comes to sex with girls that respect you and know you for who you really are.

Props man. Good to see another fellow who gets it.
