alright so im gonna give this chick a call that I met... when I left her the other night I invited her out wednesday night for my friends and her friends to go to Dave and Busters... so tomorrow im gonna call and re-confirm the outing.... I asked her if she needed a ride and she said Yes, but then again I really don't want to pick her up so I'm hoping her friends are going to take care of her there......

here is what i have so far in the phone convo:

hey wassup this is monty...

you still down for tonite?

are your friends going too?

so you have a ride to go there right?

yea it'll be fun tonite....

well im gonna let you go now... call me up if you need a ride, if not i'll see u
there... alright... bye

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

That is way too much, and too insecure.

Call her and tell her you will pick her up at 8PM (or whatever), and to wear that dress you like. ;)

Then don't call her again until you are on your way.

yea but i kinda dont want to pick her up... isnt it weird if i just called her and be like "what time am i gonna pick you up?" i mean ive only known her for a few hours.

You don't ask what time to pick her up, you TELL her what time you are picking her up. Stop acting like a little girl.

If you don't want to pick her up... don't pick her up! Why post a thread about a chick you don't want to pick up? You don't pick her up = you aren't that interested.

Stop being wishy washy.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Just call and confirm that your meeting at X time. Don't mention anything about the ride. Assume that she will get their with her friends. If she doesn't have a ride, let her bring it up. If thats the case, then pick her up, its not the end of the world.
