Okay guys, this one girl is really interested in me, but we live 15-20 minutes away (different counties) and she's always asking when we can hang out. Trouble is, my parents don't know her, I've never been on a date before (parents not used to this so I feel akward telling them that I'll be going on a date), and I have no way of getting there. The other night when we were supposed to go out I told my parents that a few friends would be picking me up and dropping me off...but that didn't work out because her friends weren't available to give her a ride. My mom seems overprotective and when I said my friend was picking me up with another friend and his girlfriend and she started asking a lot of questions about them, because she doesn't know them. And then she said "YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?" and I said "no mom...." So I'm kinda worried how she'll react if I told her I'm going on a date. Any tips on how to be able to go on dates (meeting wise..transportation and whatnot) and also how to slip the parents.

Yeah that's great. If mom ever found me with a condom she would never trust me ever again. She was telling me about this aweful video game(Vice city) that she was so glad I didn't play those games. Do you think if I'm open and honest with them they'll be cool about it? My dad is cool 99% of the time, but I've never brought up the topic of having a girlfriend. I was thinking of asking him "would you let me date girls" or "would you let me have a girlfriend?" and see how he responds. I would probably bring it up with him first since my mom is a worried freak and doesn't want her "baby" to get hurt and I'm 17 lol.
