It keeps flowing in, and making me more depressed. I'm not built for this world, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and saviour.

Maybe my strong religious beliefs are forcing me to hoard this money for a conceived higher purpose.

All good points, for 10 years I've planned to visit Africa for humanitarian work, physical labour (not just throwing money), my ex gf said I should just donate, but I want physical sweat on soil kind of work.
It wasn't clear if you've ever done this?

If not, save your money while you transition to do your humanitarian work that you had planned on before. I think you'll probably find that more fulfilling/rewarding in life right now. Also it's a good time to do that kind of stuff before you settle down with any wife/family.
As a potential side effect, you may meet a really nice gal also volunteering for humanitarian work as well.

I can't even visit my sick grandfather in Miami from UK due to "covid". I've booked flights to Cancun for 14 days then on to Miami, but if I need a "vaccine" I'm turning back.

Current climate you can't do anything.

All money does is give you the opportunity to have extra decisions to make that you normally wouldn't have available.

Happiness comes from making the proper decisions.

Try something tonight and every night thereafter. This might sounds stupid but do it anyway.

Stand in front of a mirror and say what you are thankful for that happened that day before you go to bed.

Willing to bet you see a transformation in yourself within a month if you do this regularly.
Point well taken, will try this.

I just think I'm intrinsically sad, I'd probably have committed suicide in another life.

Accept reality for what it is. Be OK with it and then go from there. Not accepting reality the way it is usually is a main cause of issues for people.

I decided to get an outcall hooker to my place and drown myself in brandy tonight. It was fun and exciting, couldn't get any coke, that was dissappointing.

I'll probably stop posting here.

That activity is ok, I would skip the coke, however. The reason is that if you are feeling down as the reason to get it, that is direct to addiction and sounds like you have enough money to really get into it. Of all things, force yourself to not do that. It will eventually cause you to do things you say you never would and also the MEN that will hang around you are also in trouble. Just avoid it, but some brandy and women sometimes; ok.

You have learned now a key lesson. Money does not buy happiness. With a conservative lifestyle, you literally have more money than you need or WANT. This is a very good foundation to do things and also dangerous. Many men stay grounded because of needing to work for survival and validation. If free, what should I do...

You are now a very eligible bachelor according to what you tell.

Consider doing the following in addition to your already busy schedule.
- ensure a fitness plan, lifting and or sprinting or swim if that more for you. Three days a week at least 1+ hour. Pay for a trainer if you go to a gym.
- visit the dentist for checkup and clean.
- have your clothes cleaned and pressed from a service or store (sounds like you can afford it no problem)

- clubs/social
-- service clubs such as Lions or even Rotary..., just contact them and ask.
-- Christian..., once a week bible study if you can't find one just approach the pastor or priest of any church you think looks good.
-- Toastmasters, don't laff.. try it.
-- Do you live near a nice tavern, eat dinner in it once a week at the same time and day.

I quit my job June 2020 due to the utter disrespect and lack of care my previous bosses showed me during the pandemic. I've always struggled with bad bosses and I've been fired from 5 out of 7 jobs. I've been doing this for 9 years, know the market, the game, and well connected in my niche. I started my own firm, abided by the non-compete and didn't touch any of my clients until Jan 2021.

Fast forward to the present day, I've been ghost mode from friends and family working 16 hours a day including weekends. 30-60 minutes playing Call of Duty is a guilty pleasure/reward for me. I no longer have an interest in anything other than making my business work/grow. I wake up at 6:30am and work, work out for 45 mins a day, work, eat, sleep, repeat.

I've secured and delivered on 3 major projects over the last 3 months and made £106,000, net profit, in my business account of course, but set to make much much more Q2 and I don't even have a fraction of my clients on board yet. I plan to open an office and hire some employees while I focus on business development and eventually, hopefully, have some free time (at this point for what I don't know). I never understood the idea of a start-up taking over your life, that was until I cut all drugs/alcohol/women/sugar out of my life (February 2021).

Every fibre in my body is telling me to get some cocaine and alcohol tonight to celebrate alone (I can't tell friends and family about what I've earned and what my pipeline is or how bright the future looks).

I'm having visions of ridiculous spending, I'm struggling to stay grounded as I grew up dirt poor, just a boy with a dream, my parents both died and I'm an only child. I legit only have some friends and family I'm not close with.

How can I stay sane/grounded and live discreetly?

I welcome any and all advice - I'm not materialistic in the slightest, money meant nothing to me until now.

How do you deal with coming into money and not turning into a prick?
Prayer helps me.

sounds like ur in need of a mission outside of yourself.
It's hard to get enjoyment out of things when u excite your brain with cocaine. ****s up your reward circuits. 1. get off the drugs (tapper off) and don't let yourself be in situations where you can default to drugs. If you see it happening.. get out or you may slip back into auto thinking. (read joe Dispenza to learn more)

if you can't get off these hard drugs alone, use some of your money to get professional help. **** the stigma.. invest in urself

I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.

If you find something that motivates you in (what you deem to be) a positive way, that's great. From what you've shared, it sounds like your worth is not defined by the amount of legal tender. Good luck finding like-minded people within your financial bracket. This won't be easy.

Why would money change the person you are?
When you've had a shift and suddenly an abundance of a good thing, you'll understand.
No matter how above it we think we are, any of us can become 'drunk' on power, money, women, popularity etc....
In my youth during my 'heyday'.. there were times that I behaved like the person that I'd always despised. I am now quite cognizant of this and self-check periodically.

Celebrating a bit isn't a bad thing; just the drugs are.
Not everyone is afraid to try drugs. If you've had a bad experience or just plain fearful, that's fine... but some of us find pleasure in occasional recreational drug usage.

Skip the drugs and you'll be fine.
If you've had past addictions, I would agree with "RickTheToad" (everyone mark this day on calendars because it's not common.)
However, if you are just looking to break the monotony, you might enjoy a nice change. I used to love getting high, but I hadn't smoked pot for over 28 years (just lost the desire) . A few years ago, I was bored and gave it a try again. I now smoke three or four times a year and it's fun, relaxing and enjoyable. Blow is a lot more expensive and to some, can be addictive. Your mileage may vary, but I'm glad that I now smoke on occasion.

Welcome to the dark side in agreeing with me.

Back to your post.. It has to do more with the person's personality than money. There really is no difference in how much you make after you earn over 75k - 100k a year. I cannot agree to get high on drugs though. You want a good high? Go skydiving. You'd be higher than you'd ever be on drugs.

Thanks for your response brother!

Coke is always a give or take with me, never a necessity. I like it, I don't depend on it. For example, I didn't touch any drugs, or this website (or much internet) since I last posted a few weeks ago. I worked and worked out. Today another 17k euro hit my account so I got a gram of coke and some alcohol. It's a celebration. Tomorrow I'll work.

Already done a full health checkup including dentistry. All in good working order, not taking the poison injection will do that to you.

Clothes pressed is not needed, I used to, dry clean my suits and shirts, weekly, working in the city. Now I work from home, alone, isolated, making money in my boxers, playing games, reading my bible, masturbating, watching porn, sleeping with women, drinking alcohol. It's not ideal and I'm trying to be better. But... not actually spending any of this new money. I'm still on my old money.

I'm thinking to go to church again, have not been since childhood (I don't really believe in religion but I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Yahweh/God). I need to find a nice woman and I think I'll find her at church.

Echart Tolle - no thanks - demonic new age garbage and deception.

I slacked off working out, so easily done with distractions. Health and connection to God is my only focus now.

Appreciate your comment/advice.

I had "Sudden Wealth Syndrome" - it's a thing - research it. I'm slowly balancing out. Not spending any huge amounts of money has kept me grounded, the Lord will tell me what to do with it.

Prayer helps me.
And me too. I bought a new Bible, my first Bible in fact, and decided to read at the place the bookmark was. It looped under so the bookmark cut off 2 sections of the Bible. I thought to myself "there must be something here that will reach out to me, mean something". I opened to Chronicles 1 - David/Judah/Simeon's descendants - a load of begetting, not very meaningful. The bookmark looped back under to Job - I know Job - what could I possibly learn from the book of Job.

I have always prayed since I was a child, for wisdom and understanding, never money or material things, always for wisdom and understanding. I open to Job, in the first Bible I've ever bought, alone in my house, to Job 28: "True wisdom is God's Alone" - I was so excited, the only thing I've ever prayed about, I read the whole chapter. It talks about Job wanting God's wisdom, where to find it, the last verse in the chapter, "And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil isunderstanding.

I couldn't believe it, the one thing I always prayed for, I already had, you don't need to go deeper in knowledge or wisdom, simply fearing God and departing from evil is true wisdom, that's all I need. I cried, I broke down in tears, I felt God spoke to me. I've never felt it before, I read Job 28 out loud, had goosebumps while reading and broke down when I finished. God gave me what I needed to hear. I don't need to seeking wisdom or hidden knowledge, I'm good the way I am. I need to focus on being a better person, this money will help me do that. I plan to help people in foreign countries and do missionary work.

There's no doubt in my mind this money has come when I didn't expect or seek it, in a time in the world when things are going very south, there's a higher purpose for this money.

From my perspectives, I would say that 'No drugs' whilst the money keeps coming in. You have to find an extra activity to engage in that gives you inner peace and makes you feel joyous within you. After years of running my business and solving most of the challenges that the business faced. I encountered the same feeling but what kept me going was focusing my attention on seeking for inner peace and joy. I started to learn how to play the piano and the experience of learning from others brought different perspectives to my life. Especially paying full attention to my piano lessons without thinking about my business as an entrprenuer. You can DM me and we can talk more so I share some of my personal experiences with you.

Money, power, ect. don't make you who you are, they magnify and reveal who you are. Like others had said, you better replace that drug habit with something else. I hope that helps.

Exactly...money only makes you more of what you already are...gives you the ability to amplify it.

The deep affects of the Coke is harsh. When you get older if you have used it over time, your mind and body will be different some. The impact of internal reward and feeling good will change. Life in your your later years will not be as good. It is more common issue than you may know. Albiet if you have it sometimes then you likely know how MANY others also do.

It is impossible to match that chemical feel good in any other way. It will make all other activities less important.

To feel good for the celebration, you get some. It is associated with feeling good, without it not feeling so good.

Not preaching, but there is a red pill version of the truth on this.

How did the hooker feel? Was it robotic sex or was it normal. Some say hookers is the best way to go for men with money.

I want to share my experience with you. Back in my student years, I wanted to open my own business, but I didn't know in which direction, my friend advised me one article, thanks to it I came across a couple of interesting courses, and after a few years I opened my own business and began to receive my first profit. At the moment, I have a large business in Florida, I try to invest all the money in something, I only spend 10% of the profit on myself, I have enough for a comfortable life, while I don't feel like an arrogant and wealthy miser
