"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I go away to college to a state school in less then a month. I am ready to start all over again and be seen as a sexual being towards girls. Throughout high school i was doing pretty much everything wrong, like no confidence, way to nice, no kino, focusing on one girl at a time, not playing hard to get. When I found this site I was able to turn everything around and things started to turn around for me my senior year. Except girls that I was already in the friend zone with could not be changed. Anyway, there are only a few people from my high school going to my college and I am ready to become a DJ. Is there any tips for guys going away to college or any posts that are real good.

I will make tons of connections and meet everyone by joining clubs and staying active. When I meet a girl I will make sure that I throw something in there to show that I am a guy and I like chicks. Other then that I got nothing haha, maybe try to get into a leadership type position to have some power.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Congrats theNEWDJ!

Consider trying out for sports/athletics. Many colleges have gyms where you can workout so I will most definitely take advantage of looking good and feeling good thru exercise.

Lots of clubs on campus, depending on your interests. Science, engineering, psychology, etc. You name it there is a club for it. You get to meet people with similiar interests. Stay away from the feminist groups. haha

Have fun, and dont take it to the extreme. If you have a paper to write or an exam to study, do that. Ditch the party. Forming habits of self-motivation is the key to your success.

Don't stick yourself to one group or race for friends.

As with anything it is what you make it...

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
