"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Go DJ! Yeah that's my DJ! (Hey fug lil Wayne but it's a catchy title.)

After all you've learned and hopefully grown during your time on these DJ forums can anyone say any of the women in your life would be or are your own DJ cheering section?

Let's put the negativity and complaining on the backburner for once.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Lol.

Good question man.

I was so pretty confused with DJism for a long time. I quit clubbing for a while and just converse with women in daily life. They seem to be generally nicer, cuz their protection shield is lower. Anyway, I am becoming more intolerant of *****y behavior, and I only really respond to the ones that don't give me too much ****-tests. It's like Anti-Dump's machine.

Women's interest is still completely random. You can meet two 7's, one will like u, one won't. Nobody knows why. Point is, though I'm not doing great, I have my women who like me, which boosts my confidence and is good for my ego.

So I don't have major cheerleaders, but I'm no hermit either. I've got some female friends, some give me more ****-tests than others. I'm working on recruiting more though, lol.

The trick is simply to avoid women that will give u sh*t. It's doing wonders for my life. All I gotta do is walk away from a b*tch, and I automatically gain respect.

Yeah, definitely getting better thanks to this site. I just recently added a new plate and it feels so weird. I feel like I have to commit to one of them, but that could just be monogamous conditioning. The thing is, when they don't want to hang, I feel like a loser, but then they contact me later and reschedule, then I feel cool again lol.

I should really learn to be happy with or without them, I think being a DJ is knowing that you can be happy just by being yourself.

At first, the "focus on your life more so than women" was a very tough pill to swallow. I used to be so addicted to sarging that I couldn't internalize that philosophy.

Finally getting a hobby (dance) helped me a lot. I really DON'T care if or when I meet someone. I just have fun with it and keep working to get better.

So while I have no female cheerleaders, I know I'm on the right track.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I was never really bad with women, but I definitely did not understand why they responded to certain things that seemed against logic. Women really confused me before I came here. I'm a very logical person, if I say something I mean it. I thought everyone was like that. This site taught me that what a woman thinks she wants is not what she really wants/needs.

I am not the type of person that constantly seeks to make himself look better then anyone else (DHV). I find no satisfaction in making apparent my dominance over others. I'm very happy/satisfied in my own skin. But when dealing with women it's important to create a distinction between you and everyone else. Being the easy going cool guy is not cool at all.

Can't be too nice to girls, they lose respect for you. I generally tend to my women much less now. Even if I want to do something nice, I realize she must earn these things or she will lose interest in everything.

My girl now is my biggest fan by far.
