"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Set up a date with this girl from the internet for Saturday (Out of town otherwise would be sooner), and now she is trying to text me and converse with me all the time. Now, I find this annoying and a waste of my time, I would rather just text her the day of to confirm and go on the date. No need for this text crap. However, I do not want her to flake or lose interest. What are your guys opinions on this texting in limbo of a date? Ignoring her seems kinda harsh, so far I just respond every few hours with pretty bland stuff since I don't feel like being the super creative version of me I was online. I really don't care enough to chat with this girl 24/7, got way more important things to do like pay attention to basketball lol

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Don't fall into the overtexting trap. Act aloof, maybe text her once a day or so. Do it just enough to keep you on her radar, but don't become a text buddy. It's an easy trap to fall into. Like you said your busy and got lots of things going on in your life. Act the part and all should go well.

Yeah, that pretty much describes what I'm doing. We're already going on a date so I figure, why text? It's boring, some guys may get a thrill out of it, but it just doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Don't text her until that day. If she texts a lot, then she will probably be thinking about you more. Also, if you text all the time what will you talk about in person?

Yeah don't be the text buddy, it only demonstrates to her your time is not valuable.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
