I have a quick question that's been nagging me recently. Full disclaimer* this chick is not my girlfriend. So I been spinning plates and I've got intimate and close to one particular chick. We were sitting down eating when she gets a phone call from one of her guy friends. She's going on vacation soon so I guess this dude wanted to say goodbye for the moment.

She hangs up phone and takes out lipstick from bag and goes to the bathroom. Comes out with her lips ruby red. I'm not exactly sure where this guy stands but it bothers me that she would do that right in front of me. What do you guys think? Am I overreacting because girls just like to do **** like that?

First of all, a woman totally into you would never pick up her phone on a date. Or even allow you to perceive that there are other men in her life who may be misconstrued by you that she is unqualified for you. A woman into you 100% would not jeopardize that misconception on a date.

You really need to assess what else happened on the date. Did she make an effort to touch you? Did she offer self disclosure of private info about her other than small talk? Was there a level of increased sharing of intimate discussion about personal thoughts? Did she leave subtle trails of liking something of you or complimenting you?

It takes huge amount of awareness on a date to pick up these cues, and nothing short of real experiences.

This is for a date planned ahead and scheduled, not some friendly unscheduled meetup.

If she's a plate, then you should have complimented her on how sexy it looks, then immediately busted her for trying to get you turned on while eating dinner.
