"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So i sent this chick on myspace a message saying I was moving to her city in a few weeks, drop me a line if you want, if not, that's cool too.

She sent me back saying yeah yada yada tell me more about yourself.

I said something like "I would, but then you'd just fall in love with me and I'd break your heart, and I don't want to do that :) Just lookin' out for ya!"

something like that.

Anyway, she responds with the SAME thing. Said something like:

"nice response, yeah I don't want you to fall in love at first site either, it's hard to get guys off me when you're this perfect."

WTF? Backfire? Insecure? Both??

EDIT: Here's the exact conversation breakdown:

T: hey what's up i'm moving to the city in july and i'm trying to network with some people so i'm not socially retarded when i get there. if you want to drop me a line, cool. if not, that's cool too. have a nice day.

Her:hey, good thinking. it is a small city, but can be big if you don't know anyone. which area are you moving to? i live in the richmond and really like it. tell me a little about yourself.

Me:Sunset district, moving there in July. No idea what's around me besides CCSF and SFSU.

I'd tell you a little about myself, but then you'd probably fall in love with me and I don't want to HAVE to break your heart like that :D I'm just lookin out for ya! ;)

But how about this. If we're living around the same area, maybe we meet up for coffee sometime?

Her:Nice resonse, but that was my original concern. It can be really hard keeping the guys off of you when you are this perfect :) But what is a girl to do? Sunset isn't far from the Richmond, but nothing is far from anything in the city. Coffee sounds fine, everyone likes it. But again, please don't fall in love at first sight, it gets really uncomfortable when I have to tell you that I don't feel the same way.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Great response from her. Expect similar respond from many girls when you're out on the field sarging.
