So i got a girls number and waited a few days to text her. Went like this

me: "hey, you gonna be up for a run tomorrow"

her: "whos this"

me: "oh, lol, its (my name)"

then nothing....

should i try again or just give up? should i have given her my # when she gave me hers?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Haha, you should have called her first.
By texting her, you gave her the power to CHOOSE whether she wants to reply back to you or not. By giving her the power, you have made her the prize.

Do NOT send another text to her, you will look desperate.
Instead, wait a week or so, and try calling her. Her not replying back is a sign on not being interested.

How well did you end the conversation before you talked to her? If you developed enough rapport with her and left her wanting more before you left, she should have been rushing to reply back to your text after you told her who you were...

After you do the approach ... you build the comfort ect.
You do it step by step, till you make it and close the set. but after you leave the set you know what you did, and only you KNOW how much do you have to wait to call her ( or text her ). Because in some occasions if you wait for even a day you lose you girl.
If the girl is so IN and she is sooo attracted on you, YOU CAN WAIT A WEEK AND SHE WON"T FORGET WHO YOU ARE :D

next time, if you're going to be texting someone that you know doesnt have your #, you should add a little
"-(your name here)" to the end of it
