"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

ok so there is this other girl at work who i have been flirting with. i know she has a BF but it is a long distance relationship since he lives like 7 hours away. She flirts with me everytime i see her, today she found out i was leaving for another job and at first was all joking saying "Aww your quitting?? i so happy now!" and then later says to me..."hey ken, why dont you try keeping 2 jobs?..." i told her i have to see how the schedule is...

Before all this crap i probably would have gone AFC and said **** that other job and stay there with her... but now im like **** it...the other job pays more.

you guys think shes into me even though she has a BF? How should i approach her to ask her out without REALLY having to ask her out straight up and get the "i have a boyfriend" line again?...you think when she says "I have a BF" i should say "really? where does he live?" she says "L.A." then i say "long distance relationship eh?...hes probably cheating on you anyways so you wanna go out sometime??" ....anyways...you guys think thats C&F?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

bad move. quit the job so she has to go out with you to see you.

if she gives you that line again shes probably not interested in a romantic relationship.
