"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

I dont.

We kind of broke up because "You dont talk about our future, you dont build plans with me!"

And because of that we dont miss each other anymore... it really feels that we are no longer together, but we are still trying to get together again...

... and I know she will want to talk about "the future"... I want to get married... in 2010! not today! not tomorrow! not in 3 years!

but she wants....

should I broke up with her?

what would you do?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Why don't you want to get married?

If she's not the one - break it off now.

Just understand what you rdoing and what your losing. If that's exceptable - then there you go.

A similar thing happened to me - I was stringing a girl on and on - and she wanted to get married. In the end she broke it off.

I can't say I regret it - but I do regret not breaking it off sooner.

If you string her along she will only resent you more and more. And she WILL eventually end it.

"You dont talk about our future, you dont build plans with me"

^The writing's on the wall. Can't you people see it?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You're both young, with different goals.
She wants a relationship that leads into the future (including children I'm sure) you don't. Let her go.
