"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

My gf was at a family dinner and a a guy at the table kept talking to her and was interested in her .she would reply with short answers but he eventually asked for her number . She told me she gave him a fake number and then he called it to confirm and right after she told him that it makes no sense to save it cause she has a boyfriend.

My concern is that why didn't she just say that she had a boyfriend from jump? Idk if I'm overreacting but is this a red flag? I told her I'm on the verge of breaking up with her ..

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

If you're on the verge of breaking up with her it shouldn't really matter anymore. Were you at the family dinner to see it or was she just telling you the story of what she claims went down?

I'm on the verge because of the story . I just felt like instead of give a fake number just say you have a BF but she ended up telling him that after he exposed the fake number

She probably did not want to be like every other girl and say they have a boyfriend when most of the time they do not. Sure she wouldn't be lying if she said that. She didn't give out her real number to him did she? So why be worried about some dude pursuing her when your girl clearly seemed not interested in him?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Interested Guy: Hi
GF: Sorry I have a boyfriend.

Is that what you approve? Anyway, no idea why she told you the story.

She gave him the real number after he exposed the fake one(which was really close to hers) to act like she made a slight mistake but she quickly told him that there's no point to save it because she has a boyfriend . He said he understood and walked away .

She told me cuz we have a honest thing going on where we don't hide things from each other . I believe her story but I just felt u could've said u had a boyfriend

Stop being a beta and overreacting. Girls will do stuff like this to test you. Sometimes they'll make up guys to make you jealous.

Not reacting is the best thing to do.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I would be posses just at the thought of some phaggot trying to hollar at my girl. The thing is women are like dogs in a way...they have to be trained and they will fail every so often...just like anyone.

I would say look, I dont like guys hitting on you. If it happens you need to be assertive enough to shut it down and make it known you are taken. If you are leading guys on or not putting a stop to active interest then that's fine. But you will be doing it single because I don't need to be here for this.

Because most guys are persistent and won't take no for an answer. "There are guys that follow the saying just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you cannot score." The same guys saying your gf is wrong probably hit on girls with bfs anyway.

Are you saying she first gave him a fake number then she gave him her real number?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

She is giving you hints. You should understand and walk away.

If she it telling you this then you are either being tested or she is sending you a message that you are on your way out. She is communicating to you that she has options.

This is what women do. They communicate indirectly and it's up to you to read between the lines and take the hint.
