Getting the 'Ummm'..when you ask for a number

hey guys,
i open a set and i talk to them about where there from, what they do etc..and we shoot the shyt for a few minutes and when they usually have to go or something , I ask for the number,Sometimes, I get a response from them like 'umm'.. or have this unsure look to them. When I ask for the number, she usually go 'um....' or 'geez....' and go silent.. as theywant me to give them a reason, but I usually dont say anything. or say something indirect like 'want to ask you a question'. I usually dont end up getting the number when they say like this....why do girls sometimes give you that uncertain response
when you ask for the number and how to prevent it ?

Instead of asking for the number try handing her your cell phone and say "I'd like to continue this conversation you should program your number". Don't give them an opportunity to say no or come up with excuses. At the same time if she is not feeling you then there's not much you can do about it.

getting her number doesn't mean you have fvcked her...or you have created a lead...

I dont understand the obsession with the digits on this forum...

a phone number is as good as approching a chic in a bar and straight away ask to have sex...

Attraction ain't there, or she wants to reject you and she's got no clue of how to do it. She probably ain't worth your time or will flake on you in the future.
