Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

We all have standards. Some are real low and others are extremly high and strict. This is for those of us who care about who we date. Nothing but the best.

There aren't many quality people in the world. Not many at all. Even less is the number of quality girls. And when you finally get her and eventually break up with her... You can't stop thinking of her.

She is an hb9, captain of her soccer team, star of the school play, have a very nice tan and every guy dreams of being with her.

Such girls are rare. Girls that are doing something with their lives, engaging in activites besides getting high or drunk. And when we find them, we don't ever want to let go. Look how much time it took us to find them!

This is 1 side of the coin. The other, the one we never look at for some reason, is us. Me, you, don juan!

Yes this girl is doing something with her life. But so are we. We, infact, are doing MORE with our lives than she is. We, the don juans, are even rarer than these quality girls. Because they are mere quality and we are pure gold, we realise that once again, we are the prize. We are what should be sought for a simple reason: we are worth more than the chick.

Yeah it sucks, you wish you still had her. Why? Because she was worth it. She was finally worth it. But that was then, and this is now. She's still in your mind all day long. Even worse, you have to see her almost every day! But what does it matter?

She's been eliminated from the game. No longer shall she have the honor of being part of your life. Put yourself in her position, it sucks worse than yours!

It's important to want to forget about her. It's important to be man enough to let go of the past. More importantly, remembering that she lost more than you did and if anybody should be haunted by the other it's her. Your life didn't revolve around her at one time and you were happy. May that era return.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I haven't seen him this...sentimental before. Most of the time he's busting on the newbies retardedness, :p. Well, I suppose there's more to everyone than meets the eye. Good post, Lik.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hahaha.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Sorry that I never post in these forums anymore, but I was just about to puke after reading that page long post on how to get over a girl. Honestly you guys are putting a lot of thought into a very simple and natural thing. My advice for getting over a girl? She's so sweet, she's so cute, she's one of a kind, right? Well, go on dates with 10 other girls and then tell me how much you still care about that *very special* girl.
