"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Since many of you guys are in/ have been in high school I hope you will get what I say.
First a little story to set this up: I was at a girl's house and were in her backyard (basically hiding from her parents) making out. The problem was that I could tell we were both ready to go farther. But, her dad kept coming outside to check on us. I am wondering how you find space to get away from the girl's/ your parents (whichever house you are at) so you have the privacy needed to go farther.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I agree with Oakraiderz, occasionally the parent will leave the house, then my friend it is time to move farther.

Or if you have very much balls, just go upstairs with her even when her parents are at home and close the door, not many parents dare to open that door:crackup: .(make sure though to make some noise)

I guess I will have to wait for the parents to leave then, because if I go anywhere near even the second floor (where the bedrooms are) her dad flips out!

Don't think bad of her father, he just want to protect his little princess.:box:
You could also take her to your house if your parents are more chilled about it. Just make sure her dad don't start to chase you with his hunting rifle:trouble: .

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

No, I totally get why he does what he does... but it makes it harder on me. He is actually pretty cool. I would try to get her to come over to my house, but my parents aren't usually home... which would be good except I can't drive (only have permit).

Hmmm, try to connect going farther with a romantic date at your place when your parents aren't home. You could let her take a cab if she lives far from you, if not use a the bicycle, or don't you Americans use those much?
In Holland we use them very much to travel far because we are not allowed to drive until we are 18.

What do you think about this?

It would be hard...
1) If my parents aren't home, they don't want anyone to be over (especially girls) I guess I could wait until they go out, but;
2) Her parents would make sure that my parents were home...
AHHHHHHH parents make this so difficult

Actually, a lot of Americans don't use bikes very much, especially the kids, who get their parents to drive them to a friends house that is like 1 mile away. It is ridiculous.

Damn, that is really bad ****. Well I start to run out of ideas. Rent a motel room? How old are the both of you anyway? Really, at his point I'm out of good advice.
A master Don Juan would probably say that you should move on to the next one because this one ain't worth the trouble. You should ask yourself how much she really means to you.

Do you Americans really bike that little? Sometimes we ride across the whole city on our bicycles, there is not enough room in the city for every student to have a car, so they use the bicycle instead, and it is way more cheaper:up: .

But how much does this girl really means to you?

We are both 15. I like being with her and all, so when the chance arises, I will be sure not to miss it.
With some of these kids it is really bad how little they bike (and we wonder why all Americans are fat...) or get any exercise at all.

Ok, just don't stay too long in this state, or you'll go blind. If nothing happens it's time to move on.

Yeah sometimes I see these programs about fat kids in America, really bad.
