"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Has anyone ever had to build a network of friends -- like particularly male buddies u can roll with -- from scratch?

I used to have a real good team, then it kinda fell apart, particularly after college. I work in the city and get around a lot, but it seems difficult to actually get together a group from scratch that you can fit well with?

Anyone got some *REAL* experiences to share? Should I just be going it alone for now? I really feel I need some group to hang out with.

Cheers,
@tomic

I'm exactly where you are right now. I'm way too different than everyone else to have mindless chatter and say things just to fit in.

Ok so you're saying if somebody moves into a new city with a new job, and has no friends, (or as you like to call them, crew), then they can't start just from scratch?

Ok Atomic Dog Sh*t... Let me break this down for you... you're calling me f*cked up but you have the exact same problem, are you stupid or what? By the way, you're 19 and you're out of college? Do you quit your friends, school and everything else that easy? no wonder you can't get laid you loser

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

The only thing I was putting down was myself... I was criticizing myself for being too different and not saying stupid sh*t to fit in, I'm not against being in a group, I just got pissed off because I admitted some of my faults, and then you go on and diss me for admitting that stuff... so next time you really shouldn't jump to conclusions that quickly
