Funny Response After Four Days

A week ago I met a girl at some party thing. At first the conversation was boring and went nowhere but she kept it going anyway, and kept changing the subject to qualify herself to me in obvious ways and she asked blatant questions like if I was "married yet" and calling me cute and funny. I wasn't really on top of my game but she just kept pushing anyway so I figured wtf I might as well get her number. The whole interaction seemed forced from both sides, it was weird.

That was on a Friday night so I waited until Monday and texted her a simple "hi __ this is __ I met you last Friday when __" and I brought up a question recalling something funny we talked about. She didn't respond and after two days I completely forgot about it.

Then four nights later I got a text from her: "i have a bf **** off"

As soon as I read it I felt like it was sent by some dude who was snooping through his girl's phone. Why else would it take four days to say that? After that long why would she even respond at all?

I think what you said sounds right. Either the boyfriend sent it, or the boyfriend saw it and made her send it. Either way she was probably just looking for attention, not worth pursuing.

That's hilarious and I wish I thought of it but I don't plan on responding at all. I already deleted the conversation from my phone. I just thought it was interesting and suspicious to get that response four days later.

Girls are usually not that abrasive when it comes to texting. If she didn;t want to speak to you then she would have not even responded, as most women do. The BF sent that.
