From my experience it means an inability to pair-bond. They just can't catch feelings for a guy. Too them, becoming emotionally invested means losing their freedom.... even if their partner isn't controlling and gives them plenty of space and room, they are afraid of their OWN feelings of love and attachment, so they deliberately prevent themselves from catching feelings, and if they feel themselves starting to, they quickly move-on. Most of them have an avoidant attachment style. I'm sure these woman can span a spectrum, but the ones I have met who are like this are all closer to the narcissistic side of the scale - very high self-confidence. The ones I have met also have an incredible zest and enthusiasm for life which is extremely contagious and increases their value to you, and when you combine that with the challenge they present through their aloofness, it can cause you to pedestalize them which is the absolute worst possible thing you could do with a woman like this. I have also noticed that their zest for life and their outward happiness tends to conceal an underlying void of lack of identity - they don't know who or what they are and are constantly searching outward and inward to find it, which is why they keep moving on and moving around. They haven't been able to find themselves and don't know who they are, but they keep seeking it out unsuccessfully.

Getting involved with a girl like this should be left to men who are honest with themselves about two things:
1. That they do not and will not want a relationship and genuinely only want a plate/sex for a period of time
2. That they won't catch feelings for her

Why is the general consensus not to date them and they're in general not good partners?
