Master Don Juan
Alright, unfortunately, neither my beach week nor my bachelor party trip went my way, so I thought I'd talk about it since there are some takeaways...but also just to have a laugh at my misfortune and terrible luck
I'll split this into separate parts for the beach week and the bachelor trip to make it easier to read, and if I end up having to make more than one post to fit everything.
Beach Week
Maybe it's me. Maybe it was COVID. Maybe it's just how people are these days. But this was nowhere near as much fun as I was hoping - and my brother agreed...
The fact that my mom and dad would be leaving mid-week to go back and have his bladder cancer removed also cast something of a shadow over the trip, since how that went could make or break the trip. I was also juggling the dating coaching stuff and creating my content uploads, so while I wasn't technically working, I still had a job to do, and that meant I had to schedule my days around that and the gym so I could get ready in time to go out at night with my brother.
Anyway, the women weren't particularly attractive overall, and the dating apps were dry. There's not much to report, so I'll rush through it to get to the bachelor party story, since that's the funny/sad one.
Thursday, I'd met a girl and her friend out at Seacrets, and we hit it off. She actually came up to me, so I knew I could push my limits a little bit. Her friend was equally cute and was the one I initially had my eye on, but I was happy either way. I got pretty hammered that night, and this girl and I spent a good while making out. The friend was also single and was drunkenly FaceTiming some older guy she sleeps with for a booty call...I tried to hook her up with my brother, but they weren't feeling each other, and she came back to me asking if he was gay, which I thought was hilarious.
I think this is a done deal, so I invite her back with us, but she says she and her friend have to leave together. I ask if she would rather I come with her, and she tells me they're both staying with her friend's grandma, so that wouldn't really work out. I have her number, so we make tentative plans to see each other the next night.
Friday was way worse. I woke up with a really rough cold, so I didn't even want to go out that night. One of my friends came down from up north to visit for the weekend, so it was him, my brother, and me tonight; otherwise I probably would've stayed in. The same girl from the first night finds me pretty early, so she and the friend hang around, but this time they have a whole entourage with some guys. My girl is visibly hammered, and the group talks about leaving, while my girl wants to stay with me...it's worth noting that she's very sloppy, so I'm much less interested, plus the fact that I'm not feeling good. Two of the guys from the group break off to come up to me and ask me if I kissed this girl. I told them I hadn't tonight, but that I did the previous night. I learned that one of the two guys is her boyfriend. He's not confrontational or upset with me, and I explained that I didn't know. I don't know who's lying in this situation, but I don't need the drama...so I excuse myself, and they all leave together.
Nothing else eventful happened that trip. Saturday morning we had to leave, and I didn't see any other women I was into that night.
Pretty lackluster trip overall.
