"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

as long as your not a complete loser, you'll definitely get in. Be cool to all the brothers, do everything they ask you to do (all requirements) and you're fine.

Frat guys basically do everything people mentioned. You have lots more friends. People say, ya, you're paying $500 for friends (500 being dues a semester), but you're getting LOTS of connections. More brothers = meeting more girls = more poontang.

Parties are the best thing about the frats. Towards the winter months when u can't party outside, you're going to be wishing u were in a frat if u cant go to bars (at least thats how it is at UConn).

my best advice is join a frat. If you end up not liking it after u join, you can always go inactive (meaning u dont pay dues or are required to go to meetings).

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

But then again, parties are always a much better place for pick-ups and especially ONSs. Don't get too upset if there are no HBs in your classes, there are PLENTY of other places in college to pick up girls, and you don't need the distraction during class anyways.

And yes, I do recommend joining a frat.
Yeah, i'm double majoring in CS. We had like 3 girls in our CS240 class and they were all manly looking.

Im not the best at giving advice, since i basically come here for people to give me advice. But i'd deffinitely stay away from chicks that i have the same class with. If you piss her off or go a little too far with her, you have to see her and sit in the same class with her for the rest of the semester and it could ruin your chances with other chicks, even in that class if you do try and get with the ones in the same class. Someone told me somethin along the lines of that, that went "johnny peed in the pool, now no one wants to swim with johnny".

So basically, if your lookin for chicks then go to the frat parties, cuz thats what im gonna do when school starts back. And luckily for me one of my good friends just happens to be in the most kick ass fraternity on campus. Or check out the girls in the library, some of them arent as nerdy as you would think. Alos go to the student union on campus.

And when you go to the frat parties dont get too trashed. Cuz your gonna look stupid in front of the chicks. And you dont wanna be banned from any of the frat parties, just get a good buzz goin and let the girls get hammered.

The big thing to realize that should get the butterflies out of your stomach, is the fact that everyone is nervous as hell and wants friends. If you go in their confident and friendly, you will instantly become the guy everyone wants to be with. It's magnetic, people will seek out the person who has the most contacts, so they in turn can fit in. You can be that guy.

p.s Don't forget to study, its the most important thing and socializing your freshman year can get out of control!

This is the best piece of advice anyone can give. Your studies are always number one. Don't let sosuave or any HB10 ruin your priorties. Keep your sh!t in perspective, never lose sight of what's most important for you, and you will get plenty of HB's.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
