"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok, to make a long story short, I was talking/dating with this girl for almost 3 weeks. Well the conversation of sex came up, well, not really at first. We were talking one night and she said that she would like to get to know me better.

So, bells went off in my head that she was talking about sex. (most of you know the distinct sound that bell has)

So she tells me these things that we could do so we could spend more time together, but the way she was saying it she would also say "or what else could we do?" like that, and I wasn't gonna just come out and say sex so I mentioned stuff like just me and her and candles and soft music and touching and things of that sort.

Well she still says she's not sure what I mean, so I finally say f*** it and ask her about a physical relationship. She says "sex?"
And then hangs up on me and says its not gonna work out between us now that she knows thats all I want.

So should I call her back and say thats not what I was talking about and go about another approach or just "next"

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You should stop playing games. Lying is playing games. Men dont play games, boys do.

If you feel like calling her back do it, but dont lie about it. If that is all you want move on if that isnt express that. In the long run lying never turns out good and its a sign of COWARDICE".

She sounds extremely immature, boardline insane. Or 15 years old. Even if she didn't want to have sex, she could have easily explained that she wasn't ready for that, or passed it off as a joke to change the subject. For her to come to the conclusion that "all you want is sex" based on THAT comment, she must have a jumbled fvcking brain.

She did you a favor by hanging up. She would have drove you up a wall before you got the chance to smash that pvssy, I can guarantee you that.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
