"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'm just a little pissed right now. Here's the story. Yesterday I meet this chick. I use heavy C&F. I tell her I have to go and I start to leave. She says that she wants to take me out to dinner tommorrow, which would be today.

She calls me this morning to tell me she can't make dinner tonight but she would do lunch with me tommorrow. In true DJ form I tell her that I already have a committment for tommorrow. You could hear a pin drop as she tries to recover.

She tries to pin me down for lunch but I tell her that we'll work something to get together one day.

I was so pissed that I was downgraded overnight from dinner to lunch. I kept my cool though.

Chicks are so flaky. I can't stand it sometimes.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Yes she was genuine because she did call me BUT she tried to switch me from dinner to lunch.

The consensus here is that this is a downgrade. Think of it this way. It’s like inviting a chick to lunch but then you call her back and suggest that you guys go out for coffee instead.

You're right tyler. Regardless of whether her excuse was legit, she was trying to set a tone with you. You countered that by showing that you won't accept these little games.

P.S. It's one thing if she had a genuine excuse, but why say dinner, then go for lunch?

Thats the biggest problem i saw. C&F works to an extent but its never good to use heavy C&F use it occasionaly. Alot of guys think its all about the C&F BUT ITS NOT.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
