Should be pretty kickass, I'll be going to a new school where I don't know anyone. I'm going to get a good start right off the bat by getting loads of #'s. Ill be a freshman also. Any tips from a veteran highschooler?

The best advice I can give you is to make as many friends as you can as soon as possible. High school revolves around who knows who, so by being friends with everyone from the first few weeks on you have an amazing advantage over the competition. The best way to do this is to introduce yourself to everyone who sits near you in each class, with different people in each class. Best of luck man.

Hey, I'm gonna be a senior in a few weeks, so I'll give you the benefit of my experience. First, in high school, everyone has friends. Even the kid who had no friends all though elementary school and junior high gets a bunch of friends. So just find who you enjoy chilling with and stick by them, they'll be a major help.
Second, join a club. My teacher convinced me to do drama club, and let me tell you, it has been the one of the best decisions I have made in high school. When I was a freshman, I was "cute", so a lot of the older girls dug me. Not in a way that they would want to date or anything, but ti did get me attention. Later on, I got a great girlfriend through the Drama Club, and we got to sepdn a lot of time together there.
Most importantly, just have fun with it. If you don't deal with it right, High School has the potential to be a painful place. I learned that the hard way. Just be confident and relax.

From someone who has graduated highschool, I can offer a bit of advice if you want to have as much success with girls as possible (and in doing so, keep it from feeling like a hellish experience). See, highschool is all about popularity and the characterisitic "cliques." To get women, you need the high social status. If you don't have it, it is going to be a lot harder with them..... I learned this the hard way because I was just too mature for that shi-t and was individualistic, and REFUSED to conform to a certain clique or hang out with certain people, and my success with women wasn't near as good as it could be if I had made half an effort to be popular, but ohhhhhhh, if I only had it to do over. Here are my tips for the absolute easiest way through:
Join clubs, play sports. Playing football or basketball basically GUARANTEES you will be popular and seen a lot and therefore, wanted by women. This is also an easy way into a popular "jock" clique, which, unsuprisingly, is usually the most popular clique of all.
Make a lot of friends, become good friends and hang out with the most popular guys in the school. In time, you should be one of them.
Also, of somewhat lesser importance but still valuable, make friends with many girls, but try not to be best friends with girls you are interested in dating (duh). The friends=fu-cked thing I like to say holds true in highschool as well.
Be outgoing and really sociable. You have to get yourself noticed to be really popular. You have to be involved in things, such as mentioned above, or you could for instance be a class clown (I hated those bast-ards). The bad guys in highschool (you know, the ones who end up dropping out and just generally don't give a fu-ck about anything), are usually pretty successful with women too, so if you are naturally a badly behaving kid, use it to your advantage.
While it is true that there are many ways to success, in highschool the one rule that holds true is that people who are popular usually have more success with girls there.
There are some people who don't belong to a particular clique of course. Most real cliques are relatively flexible in that new people could come in, but if you don't have the right personality or status it might not work right.
A quick listing of male cliques I observed, from the best possible one you could be in to the worst:
jock group- most popular kids in the school. There were actually I think two of these, but they were somewhat connect together.
various groups of preppy popular guys, number depends on size of school. Dressed in polos and most of them come from relatively well-to-do families.
some popular girl cliques who have a few guys in them
skater group- self explanatory... I might also note that many girls are into the skater guys these days
stoner clique- Many people in highschool are potheads, but these are the guys who openly admit it and carry the pothead persona. They have the don't give a fu-ck attitude as well. Strangely enough, stoners are usually pretty popular people.
various groups of relatively unpopular guys who just group up
rednecks- yes, sadly, there are girls who like redneck guys, at least in my school there were
nerd group(s)- there is usually at least one of these. I was in AP classes and was good friends with a lot of smart guys who simply lacked good social skills, but they are often the least successful of all when it comes to women, which is why it was a mistake for me to be seen a lot with them (sounds bad I know, but it is highschool).
goth group- ugh.... unless you like goth girls

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
These to groups can make a great combanation when done right.I have the dont give a F*** attitude of a stoner,but dress more like a skater.Always smileing,laughing and being in an all around good mood will bring out the stoner side,and acting like your the king of the world will help bring out the skater style in most people.
And rember to just have fun,and make friends with alot of smart people to help with school work

Well it is good to be the person with out a clique, because you can hang with anyone.
But a problem I have found is that the majority of my school is Skaters and Jocks, and there aren't nearly enough nerdy people to balance the force.
Well I have come to balance the force at my school.
But the best way to meet people is to go outside your clique and associate with everyone.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
