"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Hello, Allen.

Here is an observation you might consider. Having a forum called the Success Stories Forum may inhibit some people from posting there because they may be unsure as to whether to view a particular field outing as a success. In reality, every approach is a success and should be interpreted as such.

I think renaming the forum that is now called "Success Stories" to be called "Field Reports" would do several things.

a) It would encourage members of the board to go into the field, which is where real lessons are learned.

b) It would make for more activity in that forum.

c) Improve the overall content of the forum.

Having real world situations to base thoughts on would make for better discussions here. It would also discourage ill-considered or parrotted advice.

One could argue that the kinds of posts I am talking about could be posted in the main discussion forum, but I think this would be better because having a forum called "field reports" is going to make people WANT to post there, therefore making them get their face out of the screen and approach. Instead having it called "success stories" makes them insecure about their success or lack thereof and intimidates them.

Anyway, think about it.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

This is a good suggestion and I've been thinking about it. (And bonus points for originality.)

I don't want to pull all the "good stuff" out of the main forum though. We've already pulled out tips and success stories... although the SS forum is a little too slow to be considered a success itself.

Feel free to reply with your thoughts on this suggestion.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Actually Allen, I think you will be very surprised how much more "good stuff" will be discussed in all the forums on your site once you start encouraging more field activity. The main forum will always be busy, you need not worry about that.

It's all worth knowing. Lots of mind blowing applications. I am not massively field experienced with it yet, but I am noticing great responses to blatant applications of it even in casual interactions with women. However I will say that I believe the people who rely too heavily on hypnotic tactics to be guys who have a deep seated feeling of unworthiness of the women they are pursuing and see NLP wizardry as much easier than confronting the much tougher issue of their desparation for the approval of women due to their poor self image.

Ya its true hard to define success

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It's a badly-kept secret.
I brought it up again in the Moderators' Forum. Allen has confirmed that Success Stories is on the way out.

I hope I was allowed to say that!

Whether it will be replaced by Field Reports is another matter. Only Allen has the answers...

I was a mod when the success forum was introduced. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Success stories is a good idea.... it can still contain them... but it does need to be called 'field reports'

The term 'success stories' is rarely ever used in the forums because, as tricknick says, ALL approaches and experiences should be thought of as successes.

I definitely agree with this course of action. And moving all the best posts wouldn't be a problem, just leave them in the general board, only new posts need go in 'field reports'

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
