"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Female Competitiveness

So, women like to compete with each other for a guy. At some point, one of the girls is going to be upset that the guy isn't as into her, and will be jealous of the attention the other girl is getting. She won't want any more contact between him and the other girl.

Apparently, this is the basis for new friendships between women.

My question is, if the newly befriended girl is interested in the guy already, how much of an influence will the jealous girl be on her? Can they be talked out of their interest, or is the competition so obvious that she may even be more attracted to the guy?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

poorly worded, but a very good question. This type of c0ckblocking has probably affected me recently, altho it's impossible to know for sure.

i'll await the thoughts of others on what strategies to employ.

How necessery is it to say it's poorly worded man? You say it's a good question, thanks for that. Someone else will see it and think "coudn't have said it better myself".

Drama is BS, but frankly I know some chicks are going to be talking **** and I want to know how to counter-act it, or if I even need to.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If a chick can influence another chick in losing interest in you, that chick wasn't that into you to begin with.

Don't try to counter-act or get into the whole female mindset and worry about what they are doing. Your time should be spend in increasing the interest level's of the chick you are interested in and not worry about the rest.

You're right, I figure if a chick is so easily influenced, then she's not worth my time anyway.

I'll work on not letting this crap get to me. Serves no purpose.

That's nice to say and there is some truth to it, but we all know that in reality, c0ckblocking can seriously f*ck up your game. A chick can be into you pretty well, but if there's someone opposed to your seduction, they often can get in the way pretty effectively.

I agree that there may be no true solution in this situation, tho.
