"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Anyone have any good programs/links to make my health/fitness more efficient? I got into home cooking and 1.5hr workouts but I've found between work and transit, I've got no time for anything else.

Templates would be ideal. Thx guys

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You could try to just do a few reps of body weight resistance training, when you get the chance. An nice example is the routine Dean Karnazes uses ( Yes Ultramarathon man). He will do sit ups, push ups, or pull ups when he can (Like when he has writers block). But he also has a 4 hours sleep schedule, on which he just about runs two marathons per day on, and in between does strength training.

You could also look at his dietary measures as well. He eats home cooked meals, but usually doesn't eat many carbs, and trys to avoid starches.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

My routine is about to change anyway, i've been taking the time to try out a bunch of different programs. Planning to work my way up to 170 (At 5'7) and then cut through a bunch of interval work, I have been bouncing between 165 and 155 due to missing meals. I was working out 4 times a week, but may cut to 3 and then box on my 2 days off (I find lifting weights is not psychologically satisfying enough -- i like sparring, wrestling, etc).

Freezing leftovers is a great tip, health frozen meals are good too. But I eat too much to have leftovers mostly! I've been trying to cook (which is nice for impressing the girls) but I keep finding it locks me into my apartment (in a pretty dull neighborhood).

Chicken breast and fish can add up pretty quickly too budget-wise -- I know there are some good guides (UD2.0, Precision Nutrition, Power Eating) but I thought I would ask around before buying a $80-100 nutrition plan.
