Without watching FB's latest advert, I'll go out on a limb and admit that all of the online dating I've done, years ago now, was through FB messenger. And none of it worth a damn.
You can tell a lot about a girl from her FB page, the amount of orbiters throwing her supplication and the amount of camwhòre shots she has. Checking for male friends in common is particularly revealing. Chances are, she's slept with a few.

Fvcking A right. I slay on FB/Messenger, especially with the 20 somethings. Been saying FB is the new old for awhile now. Now, if they would only make a party feature, where you don't have to send out mass invites on Messenger or blast it on FB.

They're definitely jumping the shark now. Online dating ran it's course years ago and all these sites should be put out to pasture.
Take note of those that has tons of FB/IG uploads and imbalance likes - males.
If you do wish to tangle urself, make a quick profit and eject lest you'd be entangled like those other orbiters.
