I don't understand why so many people use it to hook up. I've never been a fan of relating through electronics, so I keep my phone convos, emails, IMs, etc., short and to the point. If I want to see someone, I meet up with them in real life.

Yet, tons of people use myspace to "approach", rather than their two feet. What's the deal?
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

most people at my highschool jus use myspace to keep in touch wit their friends and jus so they can hav one cus EVERYONE has one. no one i know uses it for dating

I used myspace once to meet a girl, she looked really good looking from her pics, but they had pics of her face. So i meet her and shes nasty and ****ing fat. So I say never meet up with a girl from myspace!

i use it to keep up with friends, and every now and then i get numbers/leads off it. its not like i sit around on it instead of going out. it just doesnt take much time so why not.
