"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I am out of town and went to a bar, was there by myself drinking beer when a drunk fellow came up and talked to me... he introduced me to her daughter. She turned around and looked at me and said "im his daughter." I said "what's your name?" she told me her name and I told her mine, I said nice to meet you smiled and shook her hand. After that nothing much happened and she turned around and didn't so much as face me for the rest of the night. Now I'm new to hitting on strangers and I wouldn't even call this hitting on a stranger since she was introduced to me... but my thought was this girl had very little interest in me.

What should I have done in this situation? Would you say I'm correct, the girl had little interest in me if she didn't say anything afterward and just turned back around? Or should I have just pushed it and got in on her conversation.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

engage her in a conversation, what she's up to tonight, how cool it is she goes out with her dad, where she's from, what she does, what shes drinking (don't buy her a drink), comment on her necklace, shoes, hair, see if she likes dancing, wants to go outside for a cigarette....

Build up some interest, if you don't talk, she won't have interest. You need to take the lead.

When I'm out at the bars and talking to women, always try to find a connection, then when you do, laugh and put your hand on their shoulder and rub their back in approval. Then go from there....
