Write a book Joekerr. You have excellent insight, and a strong writing style.
 I agree I have told this to joekerr quite a few times. I think he could actually do it.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I've said before that I think Joekerr suffers from depression maybe even manic depression. His threads go from one end of the spectrum (hopeful and confident with the world around him), to the other (dismal and insecure about his prospects for happiness).

Hey joker, your not hitting early signs of depression or anything?
naw, depression isn't a prob for me.

i was just saying that as you get older life gets more boring. i mean, you've seen presidents come and go, wars, etc. - the novelty of things wears off.

like take barack vs. hilary - i could care less. regardless of who wins I know the future won't really be any different than the past.

i just think it would be cool if something dramatic were to happen that shook the world up a bit.

the history of mankind has been filled with some pretty dramatic events. the last one to happen, i think, was going to the moon.

but it seems like the past 30 years, nothing dramatic has really happened. yes, theres been lots of advancements, but no monumental events that just make you go 'holy crap, who would have ever thought we'd see this day?"

good thing what you think doesn't mean anything to me :D

and if possible could you do me a favor and not use oxymorons like phrases 'I think' in your posts.

It is important to use I statements when speaking to a sensitive audience.

I think, I feel... blah blah blah.

Keep the best parts of youth and the best parts of age, as any time of your life! Age used badly is a curse, used well is a great blessing.

Yeah just checking lol, take up a risky part time job.Bouncer in a hard part of town, porn star, strip club owner, Crime syndicate kingpin, or even dictator to a third world country.Wait did I get a bit extreme there?? anyway maybe live life in the fast lane for a few hours a week.Half the fun is usually getting there.Of course more times then not it all ends up in tears.

This is the reason why people enjoy disaster movies and join religious cults which predict the end of the world. If you have ever watched a documentary about people who investigate alien visitations you find that they just take down the details in a very matter of fact way without any surprise. Why wouldn't they, since they claim to have heard the story many times before with similar details.

Joekerr is just like Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black 2.

hahaha. yes, this is what im talking about.

im not depressed or nothing. im just tired of everything being so predictable.

and yes, i can go sky diving or something, but life itself is so predictable generally speaking.

now if aliens turned out to be true, or jesus came back, nothing would be predictable. every single of every day would be novel.

and i dont think its just me. i think the whole world is in some kind of wierd rut .

It can be if you let it.

Tonight, I rode my R1 to jiu-jitsu practice, hitting 160 mph on the way. Then I rolled with cage fighters for an hour. Then I went 140 mph on the way to my gf's house, had great sex, drank some beer, and went about 140 on the way home. It is funny looking up to see a road sign that says there is a curve ahead and to only go 30 mph, then looking down at my gauges to see that I am going 130 mph.

I am not telling you to do what I do, but merely making the point that you can have an interesting life if you want one. If your life is boring, then the blame belongs with you, and not on life itself.

Yea, come hang with me for a couple of weeks.

My life may be a lot of things, but it's not boring and predictable.

Now that I have gotten through the thick of the BS I was going through, my life is once again moving in the right direction and I have a lot to look forward to.

Got a bad ass pad in the middle of the happenin' part of town, I know lots of interesting people and meet more all the time, I'm busy building a couple of businesses, hopefully I will be able to do some traveling again soon.....

Life only gets boring and predictable when you fall into a rut. I've been there before and I know it's no fun.
