She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Is it Wednesday yet? I'm having Lost withdrawls...freaking show is addictive!
I don't watch that one...Monday is usually study and homework night. The only shows I really watch are American Idol and Lost...and the news.penkitten said:monday is 24 and im having jack bauer withdrawls...
why cant all men be just like jack bauer?
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
was that before or after the operation? all that slicing and dicing just makes me sick. god gave it to you...so keep it!!Wyldfire said:I also didn't really blossom until after I left my ex husband. I was considered "cute" in a tomboyish way when I was 18. It wasn't until closer to 30 when I was consistently referred to as a beautiful woman. Although it might be hard to believe...I was FAR more attractive when I was older. .
I've never had cosmetic surgery, or facelifts or botox or any of that crap. The only thing I would ever even consider doing would be a breast reduction because carrying around 34 DDs for a 5 foot tall woman can cause a bit of back pain. That and it's really hard to find tops that fit right...if the chest fits right the sleeves are a mile too long.sparky0000 said:was that before or after the operation? all that slicing and dicing just makes me sick. god gave it to you...so keep it!!
"but I still think calling someone a sh!tty parent is below the belt"
how about this? if you post on here AND are a parent that qualifies you as a sh!tty one. are we all in agreement on that one?
lul wut?Wyldfire said:MuayThai...you couldn't be more wrong about me or why I am here. I have pointed out many times that a lot of men on here chase after bad women repeatedly because they have this foolish urge to "rescue" them. I personally think doing that is stupid. So are women who chase after men who they think they can "fix" them. I advise people to be smarter about WHO they choose to get involved with. I've instilled those very values in my children as well...which is a big part of why I'm pretty confident that my son has a better shot than most to have a good marriage that lasts, despite being so young. He's got a good girlfriend and she loves him very much. You can see it when they are together. He doesn't feel like he HAS to get married and raise his child...he WANTS to...huge difference between the two.
The butting heads between myself and a couple of other posters ONLY happens because they can't seem to disagree like adults much of the time. I disagree with people all the time and am quite capable of handling disagreement maturely without making things personal. Why do you think it is that some grown men are incapable of having a rational discussion without getting all emotional and making personal attacks?
Knights in Shining Armor belong in fairy tales...and they don't exist in real life...nor should anyone delude themselves that they do. The same applies to Damsels in Distress. People create their own circumstances and must learn to take responsibility for their own mistakes, problems and misery. That's the ONLY way to solve your sheeit. A member of the opposite sex doesn't "complete" you...but they CAN compliment who you already are if you use your brain when you pursue a relationship with someone.
I'd strongly suggest that you spend more time listening to what I have to say and less time listening to those who show their arses at me simply because I happen to have tits. It would certainly give you a clearer picture of what I think and why I'm here than you'll get listening to the other crap.
It is being nice which messes up these men.Being nice to people is NOT what makes a man an "AFC" or causes him not to get the things he wants out of life. It's men who are nice to everyone BUT himself that have the problems.
It's fine to respect women as long as you always respect yourself at least as much too.
If you follow the simple rule of NEVER respecting a member of the opposite sex MORE than you respect yourself you've automatically resolved most of your problems with the opposite sex.
Pook? That you?People create their own circumstances and must learn to take responsibility for their own mistakes, problems and misery. That's the ONLY way to solve your sheeit. Oh lawd. Why would I need an alpha? I AM one...
They also appear in real life, in a wussy spineless form. From what I see it is one of the biggest problems with guys on this site.Knights in Shining Armor belong in fairy tales
3 or 4 posters, most of the time. I happens because like me they don't like what you post, neither do I.The butting heads between myself and a couple of other posters ONLY happens because they can't seem to disagree like adults much of the time.
Maybe use your ignore list and get with the program?MuayThai said:Maybe stop being arrogant and get with the program?
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I respect you as a DJ Vulpine but I will have to be the first to say that I would ignore your titty posts quicker than a heartbeat.Vulpine said:Yeah! And I'll post all up in it about how to use your ignore list.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
