So what we think love is, is rarely love. Its more like a security blanket that helps distract us from our emptiness. When it stops filling the void, we begin to despise the very thing which at one time brought us the feeling of being whole . This is why we must learn to realize we only need ourselves, and we do not need external things to find wholeness.

RSD is big on Eckhart Tolle. I think it's kind of amusing that Tolle is a religious/spiritual leader who talks about God, yet is revered by a PUA community that is made up largely of atheists.
