Dress Shirt Colors

Just wondering what color dress shirts people here wear.

I have White/Blue/Black/Grey, but I need to add more colors instead of wearing the same shirts to work everyday.

What colors do you guys wear?

wearing red makes you feel powerful or in control.
wearing a dark green shirt can be soothing.

but sometimes its really all about the tie, they can define so much about you.

Anyone else have any suggestions on how to mix/match shirts and ties?

I'm thinking of getting a Red Dress Shirt, but I don't really see many people wear red shirts. I was also thinking of getting a burgundy shirt like Chris from The Sopranos.

So anyone else have any suggestions? (And don't bother saying pink either)

Just wear a freaking white shirt that FITS. Go get a fitted white dress shirt. Make sure it is fitted correctly. 95% of the American dudes wear dress shirts that are way too big. Just like they wear suits and pants that are way too baggy. Remember - GET IT FITTED. Don't go to some department store where all the flip-flop chubs go. Nope. Go to a nice department store where you are offered a drink while you try on your shirts. They usually know how shirts should fit.

Color combinations like red and black scream the dude that you bought your cell/mobile phone from.

Canali and Ferragamo have excellent dress shirts and suits. I adore both. Buy one at one of their stores and they should do a very nice job of making sure it gets fitted correctly for you. Costs too much? If practically all the Italians can afford to buy good suits you can as well.

Amen. Try to get an assortment of colors. Some work with your skin tone, some don't. Bring somebody with you to help you out.

tailored shirts are the best but if you lift, A+F seem to do some nice fitting ones - I was wearing sh1t loads of dark shirts with stripes but now I've found that light colours work well for me

I try to avoid the white dress shirt away from the workplace as in the West, white dress shirt equals conservative look.

Plus, white dress shirts get pretty dirty easily... I like nice blue and sometimes grey.
