"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

ok, here is the situation: i went to a live rock concert last Friday and I met this girl there. My buddy and I were just sitting there enjoying the music and she came over and sat right next to me, she was by her self. She was kind of cute so I started a conversation with her. It was going pretty good, before long we exchanged phone numbers, she touched me on the arm once, and even mentioned something about me calling her. I was like, 'i may just do that', but I played it cool, i didn't express interest in her, even ignored her for a while, but she stuck around for a long time, at least an hour.

My plan was to call her and aske her to go for coffe 2 days later, but lo and be hold on Sunday morning, i.e. 2 days later, she texts me on my cell phone at 8:46 in the morning. I didn't text her back until 1 p.m. that day, actually that was not intentional, I didn't even see I had a text until about noon. Well, as soon as I text her she texts me back, I was like ookk. I waited about half an hour and text her back, played it cool again. This time she didn't respond for about 5 hours. Well, I didn't respond until the next day, and when I did I said 'Hi [her name], I am going to be busy the next couple of days but let's get together for a cup of coffee and stimulating conversation later this week.'

Well, that was on Monday around noon and she hasn't answered yet. I am kind of buffled because at first she showed high Interest Level and now she is not answering at all. What should I do now? I am thinking of just calling her and asking her out for coffee.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Call her.

Don't ask her out through email or txt msg. It's weak. And stop quoting David Deangelo.

People try to play hard to get through texting. Say you send a text, the othe person can sit there and not respond to your text for awhile, even though the phone may be in their hand the whole time. Just call her up!

When in doubt, ask her out.

She accepts, great, you know her interest level. She rejects? Great, move on to the next one.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
