http://www.theguardian.com/society/2010/sep/05/men-victims-domestic-violence. How many members do we have that are now or have been victims of domestic violence?
Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.
I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.
Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules. Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Are you saying that you were taught to stand up for yourself and basically you would tell someone to bite your ass or hig the curb?I am sorry , "verbal" or "emotional" abuse ..........that's bull. And I am not talking about kids , talking about adults.

Like the saying "if a woman wants to wear a man's shoes"?As much as i hate hitting women , if one wants me to treat her as a man , I'll do it.
In life you get treated always as you want to.
This is the perfect example of abuse. Thank you for sharing it. A grown man doesn't need permission to eat his own pie.I watched my ex-wife's Mother slap her father across the face...............because......drum roll....he served himself a piece of pie after supper. Borderline diabetic......I guess that was enough reason? a 50 year old man can't decide for himself to have a piece of pie, without a violent slap??
Sounded like a gunshot. I asked ex-wife about it later, and said "That was nothing. I have seen far worse"
DV is at least 50/50. Difference is, due to stigma and Police not believing, men don't report it. Trust me, there is ALOT of violent women out there.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
that's a really good idea.I think this site needs a devoted thread for advice and support on this particular topic. Where they can be encouraged to leave a bad situation. Men don't come forward enough on this issue.
I'm sure many people misunderstood what i really meant.Like the saying "if a woman wants to wear a man's shoes"?
Domestic violence can take place in many forms. From economic to emotional. Just because it doesn't involve a black eye doesn't mean it doesn't have a serious effect. There are a lot of different scenarios where it seriously affects men but they don't have the same vast amount of resources that females have.I am sorry , "verbal" or "emotional" abuse ..........that's bull. And I am not talking about kids , talking about adults.

yeah. Scarcity mentality is only increased if you are constantly being reminded of how much of a low value man you are. It's basic manipulation, you make the other person feel like **** while convincing him/her that you are his/her only option.many guys return to, or still live with "exe's"
Check out this video: http://twitter.com/missnkay/status/598578140814954497/video/1Yelling is domestic violence in California. It's hard for me to remember many relationships where I was not guilty of yelling a time or two.
As far as physical violence goes, yes there are bad men who beat up women. But what we'll never admit is that there are also bad women with psychological problems who will do everything they can to goad a good man into beating them.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
