"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

How do you do something with someone outside of work?
How do you break out of the "we're just friends at work" box?

I don't have many friends to go out with, so thats the problem. BTW, I'm 20 and work at a crappy department store.

It always seems that I can make friends with girls and stuff at work pretty easily. You know, I really make them laugh alot and they say that I'm hilarious and cute, etc (thats cool, i'm not looking for ONS or GF....got a FB) but it's like only at work.

I want to go out and do things with them and talk to them outside of work. How do I do this?

The thing is that I have a friend or two from highschool and then a few good friends at college(but they live over an hour away). So you see, I don't really go to any parties on the weekend as I mostly study(I go to pub nights usually every Wednesday, stay over at friends house). So you can see that I would ask them out to come to a party or whatever but I don't have any parties to go to. :(

I'm trying to get my life on track and get some great new friends, but it's hard when you don't currently belong to a social circle and have nowhere to invite people to go to.

Sometimes it just seems as though maybe they don't want to do anything with me outside of work.

Some help would be greatly appreciated,
John

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Put your hat on, and pretend like you're Julie. Oh wait, probably a little before your time.

Anyway, act like you're the cruise director. Organize happy hours after work or whatever. Try to get everyone from work to go sing Kareoke after work, or shoot pool, rob a bank, whatever. If there are other stores nearby where you or other people know people, invite them as well. Try to get a group together to go do things together after work. Then isolate any targets you might be interested in. That has worked for me on plenty of occasions. I have had the fortune(Mis???) to date plenty of women who worked with/for me.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
