Well, I was reading up one of my old, old threads, and almost everyone said that I should smile in that topic, but doesn't smiling make you look gay? I don't want to go around approaching girls, looking like a fruit or anything.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Ah, I see, so it's not gay. But should you go around smiling all the time or should you smile only at certain moments?ValleyDJing said:hell no, smiling doesn't make you look gay, unless you do it wrong. show teeth definitely and make it sort of a crooked smile but a big one. the crooked smile makes you look sly you know? try to keep your eyes under control...relax them you know what i mean?

Half smile, what exactly does that look like?Half a smile is better.
I didn't ask whether or not it was good or not, I already know that it's good, I asked if it makes you look gay and now, I know the answer. Besides, even if it does make me look gay, what do I care what those other guys think? Women still love it and I'll still probably be getting more girls than them, with my "gay" smile. Long as I don't look like a total fruitloop. A lot of people say it's not cool for a black guy to smile, but they're only saying that to cover up their own insecurities.delete this thread
cant belive you have to ask if its good to smile or not
smile = happy = self confidence = girls take note = win
I actually don't, or I wouldn't of asked it.Docs said:Viper, what the hell is with asking this question?
You already know the goddamn answer.
don't use those smiles, they look scary, not charmingNighthawk said:

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
