Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I read inspiration posts daily, and they are alright, but they tell the same story. Be the man, Just do it, etc. This will change those posts forever.

-------

The only inspiration you should need is seeing yourself with your goals.

Just think for a minute, beside the girl of your dreams, or having your house and car, or amassing a lot of investments, or even seeing yourself getting a phone number, making an impression on the boss, or even trying your best at what you do every single day.

If you can't see yourself up there, and won't bother to at least try, then you are of absolute failure to yourself, to the world, and a failure to the dreams you won't even start.

Are you going to try and possibly fall, or not even bother at all and always fall?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

There's not really a lot left to say on motivation. People's inner voices need to stop being such whiny little bi'tches, shut up, and let themselves just do it.

The way you think is a tool, it's not "truth". If a thought isn't useful, change it. It'll resist at first, but keep in mind the difference between how you are and how you want to be and your unconscious mind will bring you up to speed soon enough. Persistance is the key. Motivational posts often take a logical approach, which is useful for showing you that you have a problem perhaps, but it doesn't change the root belief because beliefs don't work logically. You have to put a little more work on it. NLP is awesome for that.

For a whiny little bi'tches, the best phrase to remember and use is "fu'ck it". Life isn't so damn serious anyway! (Think this when it helps you. When it doesn't help you, don't think it. That's the great thing about the mind... you can think ANYTHING. Even opposing things).

"There's no such thing as failure". I have an affirmation: "whatever I do, I accept myself fully and completely". I think that whenever I feel shame about something I've done or am worried how I'll look when I do something. You might think that the threat of not accepting yourself is useful for motivation, but I find that all it does is make you scared of failure. You need to be happy about who you are now to improve. (Well anyway it'll make you happier :D)

Krassus had some awesome posts on motivation. In the end, it all comes down to fear.

Fear sucks. It really, really sucks. Conquering it is one of the most important things you can do in life.
