The choices are correlations rather than causation, which would be traits such as impulsiveness/ short-term gratification/ inability to think long-term.

There will be other personality factors, why they can't find anyone to share a flat with for example (ie all their friends/ family consider them unreliable aholes)

Most people in this predicament would not be coherent enough to post vids like this, likely due to substance abuse.

More obvious explanations:

-Lots of folks have chosen to reside in locales they can't currently afford(NYC, LA, Seattle, etc), all for the sake FEELING close to glamour. End up living in a station wagon that's on it's last wheels, once life's practicalities(that BA in psychology or early childhood ed isn't raking in the dough required to pay for a loft downtown. Especially when you've got student loans to cover as well)become impossible to avoid

-Many Americans were making a decent living, and could've easily lived comfortably, yet chose to blow all the wages off on streaming services, video games, dope, dining at the most expensive restaurants in town, etc etc. Nothing will get you thrown out onto the streets faster than an absence of impulse control. Such folk are fortunate they still have wheels with a comfy back seat to snooze in


Personally, I've "gone nomad" more than once in my life/Lived out of automobiles, couch surfed, etc etc. And may do so again. This has it's share of perks, and many are choosing to do so long term now

Most of them are probably lying to get others to donate. I caught one on Social Media, pretending to have a serious illness just to get others donate for them or for one of their family member with a staged illness
