You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I was into ASMR before it was a thing and naturally saw the whole movement blossom. I was about 17 years old, depressed, skipping school while mum was at work. I would lay on the sofa and listen to people getting massages, softly talking on youtube. Way before the monetisation of youtube came into play. Literally at the birth of youtube when it was homemade low quality stuff people did simply to put content online. Then ASMR took off and I liked watching/listening to head massages and shaves.
I have not needed it in years, I self regulate my stress and relaxation. It served a good purpose for me 10-15 years ago though.
Nothing sexual about it for me, I have ADHD and used to find it difficult to relax and let go of present stress and emotions. These days ASMR has been bastardised by women trying to make money.
