You have to be even more Chad to get laid at a party school with lots of women. Those women have been dealing with Chads their entire life and don't settle. Incels really stand out there and not in a good way.
Gender ratios don't matter. When the females outnumber the males, the women don't suddenly become desperate.
So it has to be a party school or something basically.
I attended a large public university in a Sun Belt state for undergrad in the early to mid-2000s. This school has been known to have a reputation for partying. However, its main rival school in athletics within the same state has an even bigger reputation for partying. I’ll describe the mating environment there at that time in the paragraphs below.
In 2018-19, according to National Center for Education Statistics, the sex ratio at this school was 48% male and 52% female. Going back to my era and knowing that schools have trended more female over time, I’ll say that the school was likely still around 50-50 or no worse than 52% male, 48% female. No one ever complained at that time that the school was a sausage fest.
According to the school’s newspaper, in 2018-19, 17% of undergrads at this school participate in fraternities or sororities. At the time I was attending, I recall this number being 12-15%. The school’s main athletic rival in the same state has a 9% undergrad participation rate in fraternities or sororities. That statistic was probably around 6-7% in my era. It was a common sentiment in my time that the party scene was better at the same state rival school because it was less pretentious due to the less prominent role that Greek Life played there.
The ~15% of undergrads in Greek Life had an outsized influence on the party scene and the attractive woman scene. Assume for a minute that 15% of men and 15% of women were Greek participants. While 15% of women may have been in sororities, that 15% of all women represented maybe 40%-50% of total attractive women. To seduce the sorority women, being in a fraternity certainly helped. If a non-fraternity guy wanted access to a sorority woman, he would have to find her in classes, extracurricular student clubs, or randomly cold approach on her campus, including at the campus gym. In those days at the gym, the plague of earbuds had yet to fully permeate the female gym going populace. It was the early days of the iPod, and maybe 15% of all female gym goers were wearing personal music devices, but that was 85% of all hot women, and there was great overlap with the sorority population. It was an uphill battle to get sorority vag if not a frat brother. Even a good day gamer would be facing that, and most guys who get into daygame usually get into it post college.
The silver lining in all of this is that almost none of the romantic relationships formed amongst undergrads in college actually amounts to anything. If you look at statistics, college romances usually end by one’s mid-20s. That’s typically no more than 4 years post college graduation. If I look at the sample of hot women I knew from my undergrad years, almost none of them ended up either marrying or having a baby with their college boyfriends. Most of those relationships were done by the time the woman was 26, assuming she graduated at 22-23.
To get laid at my alma mater, despite a party conducive environment, you do have to be an Alpha or Sigma male. Beta males are essentially invisible. I’ve never claimed to be an Alpha. I perceive due to my more introverted nature that I am a more Sigma male.
When females outnumber males at a college, they don’t get desperate. They’ll just look outside the university for sexual options. If the college is in a reasonably large city (150,000+), they’ll have options.
