Most of the criticism has been directed at Will Smith, but there is a perception that Rock was an easy mark. Which has been used to paint Smith as cowardly, but probably doesn't do much for Rock's reputation either. I'd say Smith gets more alpha cred points, but they're both celebs, so I'm sure they can both get laid. Some say Smith has been under a lot of pressure for being perceived as a cuck.

Chris Rock isn't that funny?? He is one of the most legendary comedians ever. Bigger and Blacker was a classic. I agree that he isn't nearly as funny as he was in his prime though.

Reminder that all the black comedians more or less got pushed out of Hollywood cause they were anti-woke. That's why all the cool black actors and producers don't make movies or tv shows anymore, while Hollywood brought in some more obedient progressive blacks to replace them. Which is why black movies have become more stale and no more black comedies are allowed in their cult of progressiveness.
