"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Well... there's this girl named Amanda who I like who's in band. Right now, I know we already have 2 things in common, we both do track and we both do band. I'm planning to approach her with this:
Me: Hey, Amanda, I saw you during track yesterday. What event do you do?
From there, she'd probably say the event, and I'm not sure what would happen from there. I'm also thinking about implementing a story up in there:
You know yesterday, right when it was raining like crazy during lunch? Me and my friends saw the funniest sh*t. Tell me why it was raining like hell and there were a bunch of tards' going outside and getting themselves soaked? It was so f*cking hilarious. Add to the fact that it was storming too and you can see those people aren't very smart. The whole time I was thinking, "What are these tards doing?"
Question, in this situation, how could I implement this story?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

That story's kinda lame.
Yeah, but it's the only TRUE story I could think of. But tell me, what makes it lame?

There are many girls in band. This is a different girl. Think outside the box. Besides it's bad to have oneitis.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

That comment's kind of an understatement.

So some kids went outside when it was raining and got wet... okay... very "hilarious" and interesting.

It is hilarious if only for the fact that those kids were dumb enough to go out into a rain storm when it's thundering. It's hilarious because the kids were idiots.

Sorry man, the way you plan to tell it it is most definitely not hilarious at all. If you say that, man, you are going to sound SO incredibly lame it would probably make the 6 o'clock news. I mean come on man, you saw the "funniest shyt" -- so far so good -- and what was it? Kids going out in the rain and getting soaked! *Groan* That is so fkkin lame words cannot describe it. The big deal is not that you came up with a lame story -- people make mistakes -- but it's amazing that you are actually trying to defend it.

If you get a chick laughing at that, she's either (a) retarded (b) polite or (c) crazy about you.
