"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

This chick hit on me at a party last Saturday. We exchanged #'s. I call her up on Wednesday, and before I can really say anything she wants to meet for coffee today. I said i'd call her and we'll specify a time then between 4-6 b/c I was golfing and didnt know how long my round would take.

I call her at 330 and 5. No answer. My gut feeling is to next this chick no matter what her excuse is. There's no excuse for not even calling me quickly to tell me she couldnt make it.

I didnt even do any effort to get this girl. She wanted to meet me......wtf ? next her ?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

indeed she may have wanted to meet with you, but you did not tell her when you wanted to meet, is it so hard to tell someone to meet at 8p?

did u not read what I said. We were meeting for coffee. A quick hour or so. I told her i'd call no later than 4 and we'd probably meet around 5 or so. This was her idea to meet. Why she'd flake, i have no idea.

Oh she's definitely interested. She was the one that hit on me, she gave me her #, she basically set up the date. But I'm thinking that someone who cant even follow up on a first date, should not be worthy of a re-scheduled date when they dont even have the nerve to cancel.

SO my question is basically, do I next a girl that does this ? I'm quite positive she's going to say, I'm sorry, blah blah blah.......but i dont want to give in.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

all I have to say is "OOPS" .

Last night after I posted, I hung out w/ one of her friends. Ended up nailing the sh#t out of her. After we're done, at about 11:00, the chick i was supposed to meet earlier texts me and says she was sorry she couldnt make it, and the hungover, tired excuse, she went to a hotel party last night so it might have been genuine. I didnt care either way.

So here I, w/ one of her friends......all i was thinking was, well, she shouldnt have flaked......that'll teach her. Word will spread and she probably wont want to hang out again.

Not to brag, but I have a lot of girls after me, I'm a real good looking guy. My game might not be up to par, though. I'll definitely admit that. I just wanted to know if you guys would next a chick right away that flakes and doesnt call u to tell u she cant make it til like 8 hours after our date.

As a guy that dates a good amount of women, I think thats unacceptable, and wanted to know if u all feel the same.

Obviously, you all would give her a second chance. I dont do that. She could have called me. If she was the least bit respectful, she would have called before our meeting.
