Do I have herpes?

I had sex with this girl for the first time twice, once on Monday night and the next morning as well. Both times I used protection. However on Tuesday afternoon I started to get rashes with big bumps, sort of like mosquito bites, basically all around my groin. Not on my ****, but on the closest sides of the left and right leg, and up to and around my belly button. I have a few patches going up my chest as well, even a small red patch under my right nipple. Now some of these bumps have turned into little red dots, maybe through me scratching them, that are very itchy.

So in short, do you guys think this is herpes? Or is it just an allergic reaction to something?

Some of the symptoms you describe are similar to herpes. A visit to your local health department or physician will tell you much more than I can though.

But your description is somewhat similar to my herpes. Did you have any other secondary symptoms (similar to a cold or flu) recently?

I went to my doctor today, and it isn't herpes, it's some sort of bacterial infection. I never thought I'd be so happy to have a bacterial infection! It did look quite a bit like herpes. I was quite worried there for awhile.
