"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm goin on a 2nd date with a girl tom night to see the tree in ny. Should i suggest dinner too? Or just da tree and hot chocalate that sort of sh*t. What do u think?
I mean obviously if its early we both gotta eat eventually so then its a no brainer. But if i tell her ill pick her up at 8:30, should i take her for dinner? I dunno if your a girl and u get outta work at 8, would u rather grab a bite at home quick before the dude comes, or would u rather eat with him? If she hasnt eaten then again obviosuly i know we gotta eat cuz were humans and humans gotta eat at some pt.

I dunno i always feel like i might be getitng too formal if we do dinner early on like on a 2nd or 3rd date. What i usually do is ask her to coffee or drinks on the first date, then on the 2nd suggest dinner. But since this is a thing like seein the tree (which she was so exicted about when i asked her) i dunno if dinner is even necessary. i dont mind spending the money, or any of that stuff, i just wanna know it its playign my cards wrong here.

What do u guys think?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Depends on how well you two "connected" on the last date. If you both had a good time, and she is looking forward to go on a second date, then don't be afraid to take her out to dinner. It is never too early for a "dinner date", if the girl is interested, she'll go, you just have to lead the way.

If the girl want to be fed, she'll go no matter whether she's interested or not.

Agree. If first date was clear cut and good. Dinner is a nice idea.
