You know how some girls will say they want to become good friends with a guy before being in a relationship? While I would not advise going along with that if your the guy, has anyone ever tried this the other way around?
Say you meet a girl for a first date , and at some point you suggest that you want to try becoming good friends before getting intimate with a girl. I think this would trigger certain thoughts in her head:
-wow this guy is different than other guys
-hard to get, not immediatly interested in sex with her
-mixed messages
or, on a less desirable note
-weirdo
-her being rejected
Because who has ever heard of a guy saying this? You would need to make sure it comes across different than saying lets just be friends. Also I could only see this working if the girl would be interested in a relationship, rather than a fling.
So, has anyone tried this approach, any constructive thoughts?
