"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

In my math class I flirt wit this one girl and stuff. Then later on the girl next to me goes do you like so and so? I go "idunno i guess she is kinda hot" The girl next to me goes im telling her. This is the part i am not sure about. the girl calls her over so I just say "guess what emily?" she goes "what" then i figure i better tell her then the girl next to me anf look like a shy fool. I say "I think you are hot" then she goes "OK" in that wierd confused did-this-just-happen-look and smiles. then she goes to her seat. The girl next to me is saying to every girl in the class then that "I want to have sex with them" some laughed and smiled. Did i **** this up? ps we been flirtin for a couple days now

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

no, i think you did the right thing. Welcome to the world of rejection. You made the first steps...don't get upset with it, move on. It takes a lot of rejection to become a DJ :)

(and what i think of classes and stuff. be carefull if you cannot uphold your status...cause you'll see them everyday. Try to look elsewhere as well so you can be natural confident anytime even when you **** up in the future)

I won't even read the post.
Don't ask "Did I screw up?" Because if you're asking this, chances are you did.
Next time, dont' bother asking. Be confident, and plan out your moves more.
Next her if you feel you fawked up.
From this day forward, you shouldn't feel you ****ed up again, you are a DJ. prove it to yourself. Be confident withe every move you make.
-sudden burst of lets-sound-smart-by-being-vague mood. hope it was atleast alittle helpful or enlightening.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Rejection is like lifting weights... It hurts, but its good for you, it makes you stronger.
